In addition to English, which is the second language at José Max León Bilingual School, and which is acquired from the bilingual areas of English, Science, Technology, Arts, Entrepreneurship, and Physical Education, the door opens to the learning of a foreign language, Portuguese, recognizing the geopolitical and economic weight of Brazil in the continent.
Knowing Portuguese gives a competitive advantage to the Colombian professional in the region, in addition to opening the doors to explore higher education programs in universities in this country, which are usually cheaper than those in English-speaking countries.
The exchange with Brazil for seventh grade students is based on the experience of living in the home of a host family and attending school for one academic period.
During this experience, participants experience the culture of this country through different activities with their families, reinforcing the process of learning Portuguese and their comprehensive training towards the development of the Lions profile.
