Cambridge

We are a cutting-edge school in bilingual education

We promote the bilingual education experience of the English-speaking culture through the agreement with Cambridge University Press, Cambridge Assessment English certifications, the projection of the implementation of the Cambridge International Curriculum, and the development of second language skills in the areas of English, Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Physical Education.

Bilingual education

Bilingual education is regarded as the process of acquiring a second language according to the student’s development, prioritizing oral comprehension and production in the early years, so that these same writing skills go hand in hand with its development in the mother tongue.

This entire process is supported by the “Cambridge English Schools” agreement made with Cambridge University Press, which allows the planning of a coherent curricular line, aimed at developing communication skills.

In addition, the progressive development of the second language is certified by means of standardized international exams of the Cambridge Assessment English Main Suite, as follows:

  • Young Learners of English (Starters – 1st grade).

  • Movers (3rd grade).

  • Flyers (5th grade).

  • Cambridge Key (7th grade).

  • Cambridge Preliminary (9th grade).

In eleventh grade, students must certify at least a B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference through the IELTS exam, which allows them to validate their level of English for universities across the country, and meet the admission requirement in higher education institutions in English-speaking countries.

Cambridge Pathway

In the year 2022-2023, the implementation of the Cambridge International Curriculum began in association with the British Council, from grades 3rd to 7th, so that in the year 2026 all schooling will be covered through the Cambridge pathway.

This curriculum sets a global standard in education and is recognized by universities and employers worldwide. It is a flexible, challenging, and inspiring curriculum, culturally sensitive but international in its approach.

We seek to develop in students an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning, promoting the development of higher-order thinking skills, problem-solving, inquiry, collaborative learning, and argumentation through programs such as Cambridge Global Perspectives, which facilitates the acquisition of essential skills for success in college and in their life projects.
