PROGRAMMING TOURNAMENT

Scratch Jr.

Students from 3rd to 5th grade

Each participant must design a Scratch game that provides a solution to a situation of Environmental Sustainability, demonstrating creativity and excellent command of the software.

* Previous knowledge of Scratch or Mblock is required.
* 2 students per school.

Arduino CBJML

Educational Robotics (Arduino)

Students from 6th to 11th grade

In pairs they will solve a challenge about environmental sustainability or inclusion. They will need to have an Arduino board and electrical and electronic components such as sensors, connectors, etc.

* Requires prior knowledge in Arduino.
* 2 students per school.

Open Category

Participants in this category must design and create an App to solve a specific problem, showing off their creativity and mastery of the resource.

* Requires previous programming knowledge.
* 2 students per school.

 

WORKSHOPS OF THE TECHNOLOGY OLYMPIAD

Students from 1st to 3th grade

The purpose is to design and create a technological prototype using reusable elements and the ROBOTSchool Kit. The workshop will be led by a specialist in teaching technology.

* No previous knowledge is required. 2 students per school.

Educative technology

Students from 5th to 7th grade

In this version, prototypes will be assembled using Lego and Arduino blocks. Accompaniment of the company Adtech S.A. and an expert in Educational Robotics.

* No previous knowledge is required. 2 students and one teacher per school.

Lego Technology – Arduino

Students from 6th to 11th grade 

Immerse yourself in the world of Astronomy by building your own prototype while discovering key concepts of this fascinating science. Led by an expert in Astronomy.

* No previous knowledge required. 2 students per school.

Astronomy education – STEAM

Students from 6th to 11th grade

Space to learn and practice creative and communicative skills in the creation of video-shorts to promote entrepreneurial ideas. Run by Jorge Tadeo Lozano University.

* No previous knowledge is required. 2 students per school.
* Requirements: Cell phone per student and optional use of computer.

Short Videos

Students from 6th to 11th grade

Learn techniques and tricks of cell phone photography, addressing lighting, framing and composition. At the end, a contest will be held to choose the best photo according to the assigned challenge. Led by a professor from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University.

* No previous knowledge is required. 2 students per school.

* Requirements: Cell phone per student and optional use of computer.
