Mix.com is a website/app where you can read articles on topics of your preference. You can add your favorite ones to your profile and share with the community, create collections to organize them, follow people and subscribe to collections to discover more!

  1. Go to mix.com
  2. Sign up with your Google account (personal or school’s)
  3. Pick your interests from the options presented. The website will present articles on those topics you chose.
  4. Enjoy the readings and expand both your knowledge and your English!

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR NETFLIX/AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

 

Enjoy your time at home by watching great movies or binge-worthy series in English. Do not miss the opportunity to listen to the actors in their original language!

  1. Make sure that the audio and subtitles are in English.
  2. You can do that with movies or series you have already watched in Spanish or go ahead and try new ones!

Expand your mind and start thinking outside the box with ideas worth spreading!, TED.com is a website/app where you can find hundreds of talks on very interesting topics, just browse the catalog and watch whichever draws your attention.

  1. Make sure you activate the English subtitles in case you need that extra help.
  2. How about  trying it without the subtitles? Go ahead and put your listening skills to the test.
